Good Gym Runners Help Out at Wolves Lane!
Ed Field from “Good Gym” organises fitness activities for groups of people consisting of a run to a site where they can do heavy physical work for a community project for about 45 minutes followed by a return run ( as a more rewarding alternative than going to a gym ).
This past Wednesday, July 22, 2015, Ed, along with Varon Lewis, a Good Gym fitness trainer and run leader, and 21 or so runners set off from Tottenham Green Leisure Centre. They ran to Wolves Lane Garden Centre where they all stopped in for some laughter and to lend a hand moving logs. So the runners had their work out and enjoyed themselves too!
“It was great to help out – it turned into a really fun task,” said Ed.
This was the first working session for the group at Wolves Lane Garden Centre. We hope to see them again soon!
