Let’s Make London a National Park City!
A campaign group is trying to declare London the world’s first National Park City!
More information about their campaign can be found on their website.
The campaign has been widely publicised in TimeOut, the Guardian, and other major news outlets, and they are holding a major event at the Southbank Centre in September including inspiring and provocative talks.
Please share this event, The Making of a National Park City, around your networks.
And then be inspired at an evening of entertaining performances and provocative thinking! This landmark event explores what a National Park City is, what this means for London, and how our capital can soon become the world’s first.
Hosted by comedian Josie Long, speakers include designer Wayne Hemingway, campaigner Fiona Reynolds, firefighter Simon Jakeman, as well as the Bollywood Brass Band, artists and poets.
Come along and see how a simple idea can help transform one of the world’s greatest cities.
There are 25% discounts for ticket bookings if you quote the reference RIVERTHAMES in the checkout.
See you there!
