What’s growing wild at Wolves Lane?

A Ginkgo Tree

is growing wild at Wolves Lane!

Come take a look!

“This photo is of the ginkgo tree at Wolves Lane. It’s native to China and it is widely cultivated in England. The Ginkgo is significant because it is  the only living species in the plant division Ginkgophyta, all others being extinct. It is found in fossils dating back 270 million years!
