Wolves Lane Meal Project
The Felix Project van was at Wolves Lane Centre again last Wednesday, to work with this important project.
Food waste and surplus produce is used to create meals by the volunteers every week. “So far they have distributed 6000+ meals for local residents struggling with food access and food poverty. Crop Drop, London Grown and The Felix Project provided all the produce” for this important endeavour. (Wolves Lane December Newsletter)
Wolves Lane Food for All
Wolves Lane has been “growing food to support the community for almost 20 weeks in 2020 and delivered over 400kg of beautiful produce to local schools, senior homes, local elderly and vulnerable residents in Haringey”. Some plants will also be “gifted to local households so people can grow their own nutritious salad over winter”. (Wolves Lane December Newsletter)
