WOLVES LANE ACTIVITIES

The facility is open to the public for visits every Friday from 10am~2:30pm (‘Bees & Buds’ childrens’ activity 10~11:30, and Cafe open 11~2:30pm) and Sunday from 11am~3pm (Plant Sale, Kids crafts 12~2pm, access to Palm & Desert Houses, and Cafe open).

Wolves Lane prepared meals for vulnerable homes during pandemic

Wolves Lane Meal Project : Food waste and surplus produce was used to create meals by the volunteers every week. “So far they have distributed 6000+ meals for local residents struggling with food access and food poverty.

Crop Drop, London Grown and The Felix Project provided all the produce” for this important endeavour.

Wolves Lane grows food to support community

Wolves Lane Food for All

Wolves Lane grew “food to support the community for almost 20 weeks in 2020 and delivered over 400kg of beautiful produce to local schools, senior homes, local elderly and vulnerable residents in Haringey”.

Food for All continued in 2021.

£1.19 MILLION awarded to Wolves Lane and Organiclea!

Organiclea and Wolves Lane have been awarded £1.19 million from the Mayor’s Good Growth Fund (the Market Garden City project).

Over 400 years of growing at Wolves Lane!

In 1611, Widow Pearson grew roses for both decorative and medicinal purposes on the site where Wolves Lane Centre sits today.

Her Rose Fields were recorded on a map of the area drawn for the 3rd Earl of Dorset.

And there have been growers, allotments and nurseries on this site ever since!
