From April 1st 2017, Haringey Council awarded management of Wolves Lane to OrganicLea (recently renamed the Wolves Lane Consortium).

Prior to management handover in 2017, many open activities for Haringey community were available at Wolves Lane:

Friends of Wolves Lane meet every third Saturday of the month at 10:30am~12 noon in Wolfie’s Cafe at Wolves Lane Centre.

Free tea, coffee and biscuits from 10am.

Myddleton Road Market is a new street market in Bowes Park N22 north of Wood Green, bringing a vibrant array of street traders from the local area.  There’s international street food, artisan bread, cakes, preserves and sauces, bike repair, crafts, clothing and jewellery, charities, coffee, ice cream, face painting and busking, not forgetting Pimms, bucks fizz and mulled wine.

The market is situated on the section of road between Marlborough Road and Palmerston Road near the Greek restaurant Vrisaki.

This is yoga for everyone with Eve de Meza every Tuesday, 10:30~12:00 in the cafe. Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, blanket and water. Fee: £7/session (of which £5 goes to WLC and £2 for the instructor).

Yoga is powerfully healing to the body and the spirit. Each session will be different as week by week a different part of the body is focused on, improving breathing techniques and well-being. (Please NOTE: there will be no session on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015.)

Wolves Lane Writers Circle

Ever thought of becoming a writer? Do you have book inside you? How about trying your hand at poetry? Writing a short story? Flash fiction? A memoir? Or even a novel?

The new Writers Circle at Wolves Lane is set to begin in March 2016. It will be held Mondays in Wolfie’s Cafe and is open to writers of all levels and FREE to join.

It is for people who have an interest in growing through writing. Could that be you?
