Community Educator – DEADLINE HAS PASSED

Wolves Lane says:

“With a major funding award from the National Lottery, we are now looking for a Community Educator (3 days per week) to support the development of a range of learning and engagement opportunities, both informal and accredited, particularly linked to food growing, healthy eating and nature connection, as well as involvement in the construction of our planned new buildings and landscaping.  The role needs someone who is passionate about creating inclusive community spaces and has strong organisational and project management skills. 

Closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 21 February 2022, with interviews held on Tuesday 1 March.

Wolves Lane Centre in Haringey is the former council-run plant nursery and garden centre that has been run by a consortium of community organisations and volunteers since 2017, with a focus on growing and distributing wholesome food and engaging local communities in education, enterprise and events.

1) Projects Coordinator

With a funding award from the National Lottery, we are now looking for a Projects Coordinator to support the development of the site and its activities. This role holds an overview of the various projects taking place.

This role requires someone who is passionate about creating inclusive community spaces and can work collaboratively in diverse communities.

2) Site Maintenance Coordinator

With a funding award from the National Lottery, we are now looking for a Site Maintenance Coordinator to support the development of the site and its activities. This role is about managing maintenance of all aspects of site infrastructure.

This role requires someone who is passionate about creating inclusive community spaces and can work collaboratively in diverse communities.

3) Two Apprentice Growers

We are also looking for two Apprentice Growers – an exciting opportunity to professionalise your growing skills and gain paid experience in food production at market garden scale.
