A wide range of NEW volunteer opportunities at Wolves Lane in 2019!

Wolves Lane Crew

…is a group of volunteers responsible for the maintenance and small development projects at the Centre.

We are constantly looking for new volunteers with fresh ideas to join the team! The work teams are involved in varied, exciting activities, and are led by experienced experts.

Volunteer opportunities within Wolves Lane Crew:

Greenhouses:

Palm House Crew (specialised plants)
Desert House (cacti)
the glasshouses (focus on vegetables and flowers)

General horticultural:

zen garden
the woodlands
perimeter lawns and gardens

Wolves Lane Workshop (renovating and maintaining):

barn
classroom
the main conservatory
cafe

Solar Panels installation
We have recently applied for a crowdfund which was successful and will enable us to put up solar panels in the near future. There is a growing movement towards sustainability on site so please let me know if you are interested in that particular area.

Community Kitchen
There are also opportunities to help run the community kitchen. We are at present looking for a
community chef and helpers to provide community lunches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so it
would be great if that was your passion.

Open Sundays Team
The Wolves Lane Crew run the Open Days on Sundays between 12 and 4pm and we are always
looking for people to assist with meeting visitors and providing information.

Volunteer opportunities with other groups on site:

Crop Drop, an organic veggie box scheme,
The Wolves Lane Flower Company, specialising in British flowers and
Edible London growing vegetables using organic methods.

When?
Our main volunteer day is Tuesday, every week, anytime between 11am to 4.00pm but there are
some Wolves Lane Crew volunteers now coming over on Wednesdays and Sundays too.
